Rainbow BioSciences, the biotech subsidiary of Rainbow Coral Corp., announced today that its latest joint venture target, Amarantus BioSciences, Inc., expects to announce the results of a preclinical study evaluating the potential of its new protein therapy as a treatment for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
Scientists have developed an easy-to-use computer program that can quickly analyse bacterial DNA from a patient's infection and predict which antibiotics will work, and which will fail due to drug resistance. The software is currently being trialled in three UK hospitals to see whether it could help speed up diagnosis of drug-resistant infections and enable doctors to better target the prescription of antibiotics.
AbbVie, Teneobio, Inc. and its affiliate TeneoOne, Inc. announced today that they have entered a global strategic transaction to develop and commercialize TNB-383B, a BCMA-targeting immunotherapeutic for the potential treatment of multiple myeloma.
More than 120 professionals from the field of health and other experts from thirty-three countries worldwide have taken part in the social awareness event of the EUDONORGAN project, an initiative directly launched by the European Parliament and led by the University of Barcelona, together with the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation and the DTI - TPM Foundation, located at the Barcelona Science Park.
The breast screening programme...is making a real difference to over a million women by giving them peace of mind that they are being checked for this disease every three years."
