Despite the high erectile dysfunction prevalence most patients receive no treatment, according to a new US study, presented at the 28th Annual EAU Congress. Undertreatment of ED continues to be common, even though the treatments have a proven efficacy and quality of life impact.
More than one-quarter of the adult population of the U.S. suffers from sleep disturbances known to contribute to life-threatening illnesses such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and dementia as well as depression, chronic pain, and fatigue. Often such sleeplessness is a consequence of obesity, lifestyle, and work.
For many years, radioactive iodine which emits beta rays has been used for treatment of thyroid cancer. Generally, 5-year survival rates may exceed 90%.
The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) is organizing a Women's Brunch for the media, to remind women of the importance of screening as a way to fight breast cancer.
Thousands of eye physicians and surgeons this week will convene in Chicago to attend AAO 2018, the American Academy of Ophthalmology's 122nd annual meeting.
