Researchers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the University of Massachusetts Medical School are among the scientists at a dozen institutions nationwide that will form the Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network, an ambitious, $155 million effort to improve opioid addiction treatment in criminal justice settings, the National Institutes of Health announced.
For women, barriers to physical activity can vary by weight, according to new study by Dartmouth researchers.
New Johns Hopkins research suggests that critically ill patients receiving steroids in a hospital's intensive care unit (ICU) are significantly more likely to develop delirium. Results of their research, they say, suggest minimizing the use of steroids could reduce delirium in the ICU.
