Eli Lilly and Company announced final results of the Phase III PROCLAIM trial that will also be discussed in an oral presentation at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago.
A recent experimental study has shown that one reason for the occurrence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) could be the deficit of a placental steroid hormone called allopregnanolone. The reason is that this hormone plays a critical role in the normal development of the brain in fetal life.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) awarded a $51 million contract to Emergent BioSolutions, Inc., of Rockville, Md., for the development of a new anthrax vaccine using the protective antigen (rPA) to stimulate a protective immune response that neutralizes the anthrax toxins.
Frontier Global Sciences (formerly Frontier GeoSciences), an internationally recognized leader in the testing of heavy metals, announced today it was awarded what is considered the Apex of laboratory accreditations: ISO 17025.
