Following the successful completion of a rigorous audit by Underwriters Laboratories (Northbrook, IL) this month, Product Safety Consulting, Inc. (Bensenville, IL) announced today that they have received formal accreditation under UL's Data Acceptance Program to better serve two vibrant and growing sectors of the American economy: lighting products and medical devices.
Here are a few basic facts that Americans need to keep in mind before they go to the polls, and afterward. First, most aspects of the reform do not go into effect until 2014. Second, things are indeed bad out there: The costs of medical care and insurance premiums are (still) rising, and some employers are (still) dropping coverage. But for that, you should blame the long-standing health care crisis and the current bad economy. Health reform is supposed to help with these problems (10/23).
AbbVie today announced results from its multi-country ALIGN study, which shows that across six chronic immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs), adherence to treatment was generally higher in patients being treated with TNF inhibitors compared to patients treated with conventional therapy.
Right around the time in mid-March when Lehigh University moved to remote learning and researchers began to shut down on-campus labs, Nelson Tansu, the Daniel E. '39 and Patricia M. Smith Endowed Chair Professor in the department of electrical and computer engineering, received an email from Dr. Christopher Roscher, an anesthesiologist at St. Luke's University Health Network.
Scientists have developed a microfluidics device that could be used for the detection or monitoring of multiple myeloma.
