Research led by Johns Hopkins investigators has uncovered the roles of two types of cells found in the vessel walls of fat tissue and described how these cells may help speed bone repair.
Depressed patients with bipolar disorder are at significantly greater risk for all-cause mortality, suicide, and accidental death than patients with other types of depression, Taiwanese study results show.
More support is needed to help breast cancer patients and survivors manage 'chemobrain' symptoms, such as memory loss, short attention span and mental confusion, according to a study led by researchers from the National University of Singapore.
