Noveko International Inc. ("the Company") is pleased to announce that further to its request, the Food and Drugs Administration (the "FDA") accepted to meet with the Company, to consider an additional labelling claim for its Noveko(TM) masks and respirators.
Genetics may play a larger role in causing Lou Gehrig's disease than previously believed, potentially accounting for more than one-third of all cases, according to one of the most comprehensive genetic studies to date of patients who suffer from the condition also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS.
A novel approach to discover the first new tuberculosis (TB) combination drug regimen cleared a major hurdle when Phase II clinical trial results found it could kill more than 99 percent of patients' TB bacteria within two weeks and could be more effective than existing treatments, according to a study published today in the Lancet. These results add to a growing body of evidence that the new regimen could reduce treatment by more than a year for some patients.
"Kill the bill, don't kill us," one woman screamed, inches from a U.S. Capitol Police officer's face Monday afternoon in a marbled hallway of U.S. Capitol at the start of the one and only public hearing on the GOP's last-ditch effort to replace the Affordable Care Act.
