The United States Food and Drug Administration have issued a warning regarding some substances present in a brand of Ranitidine that could be carcinogenic. In their first warning issued on the 13th of this month, the FDA warns that one of the brands of Ranitidine, Zantac is said to contain a nitrosamine impurity called N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) at low levels. NDMA is a known carcinogen, the report reads based on lab data and is also found in the environment, food and water the report adds.
Each year, more than one million cardiac catheterizations are performed in the United States, and most of these procedures are performed through the groin to access the arteries that provide blood supply to the heart.
Alcohol-impaired driving and associated motor-vehicle accidents are a major public-health problem. National studies have shown that approximately 25 percent of college students report that they have driven while intoxicated in the past month, and an even greater percentage report having driven after having any amount of alcohol and/or ridden with a driver believed intoxicated.
Young people around the world commonly experience anxiety and depression, but it can be hard to identify how each person can best manage their own mental health.
