A new study by researchers at UT Southwestern Medical Center suggests that when fat cells increase in size - as they do during the development of obesity - the cells progressively lose receptors for the hormone leptin, a powerful stimulus for fat burning.
Cook Medical's Women's Health division has released the Guardia AccessET Curved Embryo Transfer Catheter, featuring Cook's patented EchoTip technology. The catheter's echogenic band allows the catheter tip to be seen more clearly under ultrasound, which can allow for more accurate embryo placement.
The study, published in the Journal of Infectious Diseases, determined how circulating antibody levels change after being infected with SARS-CoV-2.
