An assistant professor of computer science at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis has earned the prestigious CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation for research to identify the patterns by which neurons develop and connect to form a brain.
Researchers in the U.S. say there is little information or research on how children with Down syndrome learn, especially when it comes to reading and language.

Task Force Committee on behalf of the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, The California Podiatric Medical Association and the California Department of Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention (CDPH). The committee will meet today, February 4th, 2010 in the California State Capitol, Governors conference room.
