LCS Therapeutics announced today that it has entered into a strategic collaboration with Lucerne Biosciences, LLC to commercialize U.S. Patent No. 8,318,813 entitled "Method of Treating Binge Eating Disorder."
The move comes even as a report points at $6.7 billion in overspending in Medicare. The HHS inspector general also says that the program paid $457 million in 2012 to detect drugs after a sharp increase in prescription drug abuse.
Fecal immunochemical tests (FIT) may be as effective as colonoscopies when it comes to detecting colorectal cancer among first-degree relatives of patients with colorectal cancer, according to a new study in Gastroenterology, the official journal of the American Gastroenterological Association.
