Cumberland Pharmaceuticals Inc. today announced the publication of data affirming the safety and efficacy of CaldolorĀ® (ibuprofen) Injection in treating post-operative pain in hospitalized patients. A Phase III study published in the peer-reviewed journal Pain Practice concluded that IV ibuprofen significantly reduced both morphine use and self-reported pain intensity in patients recovering from abdominal hysterectomy compared to morphine alone.
Glenmark Generics Inc. USA, the subsidiary of Glenmark Generics Limited, has been granted final approval for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) from the United States Food and Drug Administration for Omeprazole Delayed Release Capsules, their generic version of Prilosec by AstraZeneca.
During embryo development, genes are dynamically, and very precisely, switched on and off to confer different properties to different cells and build a well-proportioned and healthy animal. In new findings published online March 18, 2021 in the journal Cancer Cell, an international team of researchers, led by scientists at University of California San Diego School of Medicine and Moores Cancer Center, describe how pancreatic cancer cells use an alternative method to find necessary nutrients, defying current therapies, to help them grow and spread.
