Kennedy: "Senator Kennedy's brain tumor diagnosis just over a year ago brought international attention to this dreadful and devastating disease. He will be remembered as a tireless health care advocate who displayed courage and strength in his final battle against an unrelenting illness.
Doctors may be able to tailor a specialized form of brain surgery to more closely match the needs of Parkinson patients, according to results from the first large-scale effort to compare the two current target areas of deep brain stimulation surgery, or DBS.
A mass screening programme of more than 10 million Wuhan residents identified 300 asymptomatic cases, but none were infectious - according to a study involving the University of East Anglia.
Tendyne Holdings, Inc., a privately held clinical stage medical device company, announced today that in November 2014 the Tendyne Transcatheter Mitral Valve Implantation system (TMVI) was successfully implanted in the first patient of the Tendyne Feasibility Study.
