Teleflex Incorporated, a leading global provider of medical technology products, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Rigging Services business to Houston Wire & Cable Company for $50 million. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close by the end of the second quarter of 2010.
The novel avian H7N9 influenza virus has caused more than 130 human infections with 43 deaths in China. New research, conducted under the supervision of Kansas State University's Juergen Richt, is showing promise in helping to fight this deadly virus.
