Scientists at Queen's University Belfast have made a breakthrough in the fight against the most resistant hospital superbugs.
The ASH Research Collaborative and the International Society of Haemostasis and Thrombosis, two organizations with multidisciplinary expertise in blood clotting and bleeding disorders, have developed a toolkit to help clinical researchers from across medical disciplines design clinical trials that further the understanding of blood clotting events associated with COVID-19.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the supplemental New Drug Application (sNDA) for ABILIFY® (aripiprazole) for the treatment of irritability associated with autistic disorder in pediatric patients ages 6 to 17 years, including symptoms of aggression towards others, deliberate self-injuriousness, temper tantrums, and quickly changing moods.
Ortivus is now implementing its strategy to streamline its core operations into a clear focus on advanced mobile and clinical decision support for modern medical care. Consequently its North American subsidiaries, which provide administrative systems primarily for ambulance services, have been sold to an American company - TriTech Software Systems.
For the 14th consecutive year, Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian has been named the most preferred hospital by Orange County residents based on a consumer study by National Research Corporation (NRC). The award identifies hospitals that health care consumers in each region have selected as having the highest quality and image in over 300 markets throughout the U.S.
