Americans, for unknown reasons, don't often speak about vaginal health concerns with the respect and intelligence that they deserve. Because of this embarrassment and reluctance to talk about these issues, many women don't get the adequate treatment they deserve and often need.
Plexxikon Inc. announces that enrollment has been initiated and the first patient has been treated in the first of two pivotal trials of PLX4032 (RG7204) in patients with metastatic melanoma. PLX4032 is a novel, oral and highly selective drug that targets the BRAFV600E cancer-causing mutation occurring in about 50 percent of melanomas and about eight percent of all solid tumors.
People who have loved ones affected by a brain disorder or have been affected by a disorder themselves still have the opportunity to share their story by submitting a short video to the 2011 Neuro Film Festival(SM) competition at http://www.neurofilmfestival.com. The deadline for entries is February 15, 2011.
