The use of medication to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is linked to significantly lower risk for substance use problems in adolescents and adults with ADHD, according to a study led by researchers at Indiana University.
Microbiotica, a leading player in microbiome-based therapeutics spun out of the Wellcome Sanger Institute, today announced that it has entered into a multi-year strategic collaboration with Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, to discover, develop and commercialize biomarkers, targets and medicines for inflammatory bowel disease.
Combination treatment with umeclidinium bromide and vilanterol offers clinically meaningful improvements over tiotropium monotherapy for patients with moderate-to-very severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, study data show.
