As part of a new long-term alliance, Stand Up To Cancer is gearing up for its next Team Fundraising Challenge by joining forces with one of television's most popular shows, Survivor on CBS. For the first time ever, Survivor will stand up and issue the "Challenge The Odds" Team Challenge with Stand Up To Cancer Ambassador and winner of Survivor: Africa, Ethan Zohn.

Genentech, Inc. and Roche have announced that the New England Journal of Medicine published the first Phase III study of an anti-angiogenesis cancer therapy, showing that the addition of Avastin™ (bevacizumab) to the IFL chemotherapy regimen (5-FU/Leucovorin/ CPT-11) significantly extended survival in patients with first-line (previously untreated) metastatic colorectal cancer.
The simultaneous stimulation of the motor nerves of the brain and limbs (paired associative stimulation) has yielded promising research results.
