The University of Leicester has unveiled plans for a £12.6m Cardiovascular Research Centre that will double the amount of space available for world-class heart research.
Golden Meditech Holdings Limited, Mainland China's leading integrated healthcare enterprise, is pleased to announce that the Company has obtained the approvals from the Taiwan Stock Exchange and the Taiwan Securities and Futures Bureau for its proposed offering and listing of Taiwan Depositary Receipts ("TDR") on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, LLC., a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems, Inc. and a leading provider of healthcare information systems and connectivity solutions, announced today that its NextGen Ambulatory EHR version 5.8 is compliant with the ONC 2014 Edition criteria and was certified as a Complete EHR on March 1, 2013 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology, an ONC-ACB, in accordance with the applicable Eligible certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Leaders of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) have stressed that as the world commits more resources to treat people infected with HIV, it must also intensify efforts to develop a vaccine to prevent new infections and stop the continuing spread of the virus.
