Convio, Inc. announced today that Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) has selected Convio as their standard for constituent relationship management (CRM), online marketing and fundraising, and special events for JDRF's national headquarters and all chapters. JDRF will use Convio's integrated, on-demand marketing, fundraising and advocacy suite to power and support their efforts to engage constituents and raise money.
Depression, self-harm and suicidal ideation are more prominent in adults in their early twenties if they were bullied at home and at school, a study by researchers at the University of Warwick have found. Researchers stress that intervention is needed to educate people in bullying to reduce it.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation said today that it has entered into a novel collaborative research agreement with the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation (GNF) to create a diabetes drug discovery and development platform.
Biochemists at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum have gained new insights into the generation and maintenance of circadian rhythms. They demonstrated that the Ras protein is important for setting the phase of such a circadian clock, as its activity determines the period length of the rhythm.
