Stempeutics Research, a group company of Manipal Education & Medical Group and a joint venture with Cipla Group, announced today that the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has granted Orphan Drug Designation for its drug Stempeucel® for the treatment of Thromboangiitis Obliterans.
Rexahn Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a clinical stage pharmaceutical company commercializing potential best in class oncology and CNS therapeutics, today announced the closing of a previously announced sale of an aggregate of $10 million of securities in a registered direct offering. Rexahn received net proceeds of approximately $9.28 million after deducting placement agent fees and other offering expenses.
