Japanese researchers have found a piece of the "missing link" about how bone marrow stromal cells restore lost neurologic function when transplanted into animals exhibiting central nervous system disorders, according to a study in the March issue of the Journal of Nuclear Medicine.
Women with some characteristics commonly thought to increase pregnancy risks - being over age 35; being overweight; and in some cases, having a vaginal birth after a cesarean section - tend to have good outcomes when they give birth at home or in a birth center, a new assessment has found.
Salumatics Inc. and ProStor Systems today announce a strategic partnership agreement in which Salumatics will be a reseller of ProStor Systems' digital information storage solution in Canada. As part of this agreement, Salumatics will resell the ProStor InfiniVault®, which is delivered as an integrated storage system, and attaches to any existing client network.
