Research shows that people with a theoretical high risk of developing Parkinson's disease (PD) have significant cognitive deficits, particularly affecting executive function.
Among adults with difficult to treat Crohn disease not amenable to surgery, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, compared with conventional therapy, did not result in significant improvement in sustained disease remission at l year and was associated with significant toxicity, according to a study in the December 15 issue of JAMA.
MannKind Corporation today announced the pricing of its previously announced offering of $100 million aggregate principal amount of Senior Convertible Notes due 2015 (the "Notes"). The Notes will be offered and sold to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"), by the financial institutions that are the initial purchasers of the notes.
A new study by iData Research estimates that there are nearly 150,000 new cases of psoriasis every year in the United States, affecting 2.2% of the population.
