Now, using a molecular trick, Dr. Van Trung Chu and Professor Klaus Rajewsky of the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine Berlin-Buch and Dr. Ralf Kühn, MDC and Berlin Institute of Health, have found a solution to considerably increase the efficiency of precise genetic modifications by up to eightfold.
U-Systems announced today that Radiology Regional Center has initiated participation in the SOMO•INSIGHT Clinical Study. The first breast center in Southwest Florida to participate, Radiology Regional Center is recruiting participants for the national clinical research study designed to evaluate whether digital mammography in combination with the somo•v™ Automated Breast Ultrasound System (ABUS) from U-Systems is more sensitive to detecting breast lesions when compared to Mammography alone in women with dense breasts.
After a stroke, there is inflammation in the damaged part of the brain. Until now, the inflammation has been seen as a negative consequence that needs to be abolished as soon as possible. But, as it turns out, there are also some positive sides to the inflammation, and it can actually help the brain to self-repair.
