A pair of researchers at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey has been awarded nearly $2.5 million dollars to further study in their respective laboratories.
Chimpanzees were known to carry the parasite Plasmodium reichenowi, but most scientists assumed the two parasites had existed separately in humans and chimpanzees for the last 5 million years.
Inadequate use of masks or respirators put health care workers at risk of 2009 H1N1 infection during the earliest stages of the 2009 pandemic in the U.S., according to a study published in the December issue of Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology, the journal of the Society of Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company today announced patient-reported outcomes data from the Phase 3 CheckMate -214 trial in intermediate- and poor-risk patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma treated with the Immuno-Oncology combination Opdivo plus low-dose Yervoy versus sunitinib over a two-year follow-up period.
The damage has been done. More than 2,000 children remain separated from their parents or guardians in detention centers with no plan to be reunited, despite President Trump's new executive order.
