The Tizard Centre at the University of Kent will support Autism London on a major new project that aims to provide a better understanding of hate crimes and victimisation against people with autism and learning disabilities.
Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company developing and commercializing products targeting the extracellular matrix for the diabetes, cancer, dermatology and drug delivery markets, today announced the commencement of a Phase 1/2 clinical trial with HTI-501 (rHuCAT-L) in women with moderate to severe edematous fibrosclerotic panniculopathy (also known as cellulite).
A recent study conducted by researchers from the US aimed to measure the impact of severity of COVID-19 on memory B cell response and characterize changes in the memory B cell compartment during the period between recovery and five months after symptom onset. This study is available on the bioRxiv* preprint server.
New data from a retrospective cohort study showed that up to three quarters of patients with Parkinson's disease developed gastrointestinal disorders that can have a substantial adverse effect on major PD-related clinical and health economic outcomes. These data were presented at the 14th International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders in Buenos Aires, Argentina (June 13-17, 2010).
