Corning Incorporated today announced its results for the fourth quarter of 2010.
Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) researchers - in collaboration with scientists at the University of California at San Diego and Yale University - have discovered perhaps the strongest evidence yet linking variation in a particular gene with anxiety-related traits.
Saint Francis Hospital has achieved Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services by the American Nurses Credential Center's Magnet Recognition Program. The unanimous decision was based on Saint Francis Hospital's adherence to strict guidelines and criteria for nursing professionalism, quality patient care and teamwork. Only 6 percent of hospitals across the United States currently have the Magnet designation.
Scientists from A*STAR's Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI) have established a clearer relationship between two cells which serve our body's natural defence mechanisms against diseases and infections.
"Every cancer diagnosis should come with a referral to genetic counseling," says cancer expert Dr. Antonio Giordano, President of the Sbarro Health Research Organization at Temple University.
