Ironshore Pharmaceuticals & Development, Inc. has signed an agreement with Restore Health, a company specializing in personalized medicine, to participate in the fulfillment of a double-blind clinical trial, designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of HLD-200, a new drug in development to treat Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
A consortium of scientists from across the country has found that breathing ultrafine particles from a large family of materials that increasingly are found in a host of household and commercial products, from sunscreens to the ink in copy machines to super-strong but lightweight sporting equipment, can cause lung inflammation and damage.
A team of researchers led by biomedical scientist Declan F. McCole at the University of California, Riverside, has found that the drug tofacitinib, also called Xeljanz and approved by the FDA to treat rheumatoid arthritis and ulcerative colitis, can repair permeability defects in the intestine.
Infosys today announced the availability of Infosys Health Benefit Exchange, a cost effective solution designed to help states set up the insurance exchanges mandated in the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
