RainDance Technologies, Inc., and 454 Life Sciences, a Roche Company, today announced a collaboration for the development and commercialization of a targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS) solution for the simple and cost-effective investigation of drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME).
Tumors are notoriously difficult to study in their natural habitat - body tissues - but a new synthetic tissue environment may give cancer researchers the next-best look at tumor growth and behavior.
Researchers from Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state's only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, evaluated the frequency of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, on various environmental surfaces in outpatient and inpatient hematology/oncology settings located within Rutgers Cancer Institute and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, an RWJBarnabas Health facility.
