According to a new study published in the November 2009 issue of The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS), certain cases involving nonunions respond very well to shock-wave therapy. Researchers say this non-invasive treatment is equally effective as surgery when it comes to healing the bone.
Ventrus Biosciences Inc., a pharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing gastrointestinal products, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 2,900,000 shares at $6.00 per share. The shares are expected to begin trading tomorrow, December 17, 2010 on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "VTUS".
