On June 18, 2010, the Registrant of the website www.TMLTExposed.org filed suit against Texas Medical Liability Trust in the 68th Judicial District Court of Dallas County, Texas requesting a declaratory judgment that the contents of the website are protected speech under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and Article I, Section 8 of the Texas Constitution.

Through the use of the national Web site, WhereToFindCare.com, consumers who share their health care experiences will contribute to quality ratings of hospitals, doctors, nursing homes, diagnostic centers and other health care providers.
HIV remains a huge killer in Sub-Saharan Africa; especially in Malawi where up to 18% of the population is HIV positive. Early detection of the virus coupled with appropriate treatment can enormously improve both quality and length of life after diagnosis, which is why researchers at Warwick Medical School are embarking on a study to investigate the costs and benefits of home-based HIV testing in Malawi.
Financial strains like debt or unemployment are significant risk factors for becoming homeless, and even help to explain increased risk of homelessness associated with severe mental illness, reports a study in a supplement to the April issue of Medical Care.
