Farmers Insurance Missouri State Executive Director Paul Crosetti, State Fire Marshal Randy Cole, and Brad Ballard, the CEO and creator of a children's fire safety program sponsored by Farmers called FireFacts, will conduct a children's fire safety day at the Missouri Capitol December 9.
"Even before the earthquake, the Haitian economy was already on shaky ground. There is 70 to 80 percent unemployment in the formal economy. ... U.S. policy helped build this disastrous economy," AFL-CIO Executive Vice President Arlene Holt Baker writes in a Miami Herald opinion piece. Baker says previous employment efforts in Haiti resulted in "stop-gap jobs," which do not provide "employment stability or social protections."
Receiving a cochlear implant before 18 months of age dramatically improves a deaf child's ability to hear, understand and, eventually, speak, according to a multicenter study led by scientists at Johns Hopkins.
While many scientists may state that stem cells are the key to longer and healthier lives, some are not waiting on the technology for that and are using it in the anti-aging industry to bring unmatched results in wrinkle removal. The ant-wrinkle and skin cream industry has been in a state of remission as far as advancements in the industry for decades.
