New research suggests that exercise-induced muscle changes could help boost mood in older adults. The study is published ahead of print in the American Journal of Physiology-Cell Physiology.
Today, the Ontario Hospital Association expressed disappointment that the 2010 Ontario Budget did not provide the hospital sector with the 2% increase to base operating funding recommended for 2010/11, but also expressed its strong support for the creation of a committee to address hospital working capital deficits and the Budget's reiteration of the government's intent to proceed with a review of the Public Hospitals Act.
Elderly women battling breast cancer who have anxiety, depression or other mental health conditions are more likely to use opioids and more likely to die, a new study led by the University of Virginia School of Medicine has found.
