The results of a new study reveal that a professional pest management intervention was no better in decreasing asthma symptoms in children allergic to mice than teaching families how to reduce the level of allergens shed by mice in the home on their own.
PDX, a leading pharmacy technology provider, and mscripts, a leader in mobile pharmacy technology, today announced an integrated offering that allows PDX Pharmacy System users to communicate with their patients through a variety of mobile communication pathways using the mscripts platform. PDX provides software and services to more than 10,000 retail pharmacies in the United States.
Children whose mothers took antiepileptic drugs while pregnant are at increased risk of early development issues, according to a new study published in Epilepsia, a journal published by Wiley on behalf of the International League Against Epilepsy.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, residents of many Appalachian counties are three times more likely to die from diabetes than someone living in other counties in the same state, or in most other parts of the United States. Now, a group of seven regional academic centers and community organizations have joined forces to change those health disparities and improve health through the creation of the Appalachian Translational Research Network.
