Middle-aged adults are exercising more and living longer, but new research from the University of British Columbia suggests that even the fittest among them are not immune to cardiovascular disease-and they often don't have any symptoms.
A multidisciplinary team of researchers has identified specific cognitive deficits in individuals with spinal cord injury. Their findings support the theory of accelerated aging after SCI, and have important implications for further research.
