New Northwestern Medicine- research on the genetics of diabetes could one day help women know their risk for developing gestational diabetes before they become pregnant - and lead to preventive measures to protect the health of offspring.
UCLA bioengineers and colleagues at UNC School of Medicine and MIT have further developed a smart insulin-delivery patch that could one day monitor and manage glucose levels in people with diabetes and deliver the necessary insulin dosage.
Researchers have found that Medicaid expansion increased Medicaid enrollment among people who received liver transplants funded by commercial insurance. The findings are published inLiver Transplantation.
Xenova Group has announced initial results from the second clinical trial of TA-NIC, the Company's therapeutic vaccine being developed for the treatment of nicotine addiction.
