Researchers at the University of Birmingham believe that a new method of genetically engineering immune cells could lead to improved treatment of Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients.
Researchers at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine have determined how F. nucleatum - a common oral bacteria often implicated in tooth decay - accelerates the growth of colon cancer. The study was published online in the journal EMBO Reports.
More than 10 percent of women of Chinese and Korean heritage may be at risk for developing diabetes during pregnancy, according to a Kaiser Permanente study of 16,000 women in Hawaii that appears in the December issue of the Ethnicity and Disease journal.
