Geisinger Health System is one of only six healthcare organizations in the United States invited by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins University to participate in a new pilot program, Medicare Innovations Collaborative (Med-IC). The study was designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Nasulin versus placebo over a 6-week treatment period in subjects with Type 2 diabetes who were being treated with basal insulin and oral anti-diabetes agents.
