Aradigm Corporation today announced that it has received proceeds of approximately $891,000 from the exercise of all of the warrants to purchase an aggregate of 7,527,214 shares of the Company's common stock that were issued in the private placement that closed on June 21, 2010.
To improve the quality of HIV care and treatment nationwide, 17 measures such as screening and prevention for infections and monitoring of antiretroviral therapy should be adopted uniformly, according to a work group led by a Kaiser Permanente researcher.
Physicians Healthcare Management Group, Inc., a developer of health maintenance organizations (HMOs) in partnership with physicians and manager of Physhield Insurance Exchange (Physhield), a licensed medical malpractice insurer, today announced that it has issued its financial statements for the six months ended June 30, 2009. Patients who have had a heart attack and are treated with a high dose of a statin drug did not have significant reduction in the primary outcome of major cardiac events (coronary death, nonfatal acute heart attack, or cardiac arrest with resuscitation), but did appear to have reduced risk when certain secondary outcomes (composite end points of any coronary heart disease event) were examined, according to a study in the November 16 issue of JAMA.
