France Biotech, the French association of life science businesses and their partners (www.france-biotech.org) today announced that its 5th Bioethics Forum (organized in collaboration with the Eurobiomed cluster) will take place on Friday, December 11th, at the Musée du Carre d'Art venue in Nîmes.
Foodborne disease outbreaks caused by imported food appeared to rise in 2009 and 2010, and nearly half of the outbreaks implicated foods imported from areas which previously had not been associated with outbreaks, according to research from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, presented today at the International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases in Atlanta.
Hospitalized COVID-19 patients are substantially more likely to harbor autoantibodies -;antibodies directed at their own tissues or at substances their immune cells secrete into the blood -; than people without COVID-19, according to a new study.
