These tests should become part of the physician's routine examination of older adults say faculty from the Indiana University Center for Aging Research in an editorial in the June 23, 2008 issue of the Archives of Internal Medicine.

Gudzune, M D, MPH, found that participants achieved up to 4.9% mean total weight loss following one year of participation, which could be medically significant for many people with obesity or excess weight.
A new technique for treating polycystic kidney disease has been identified by researchers at The University of Manchester and UCL.
