Nektar Therapeutics today announced that results from the Phase 2 clinical trial of NKTR-102 in women with platinum-resistant/refractory ovarian cancer will be presented at the Oral Abstract Session of the Gynecologic Cancer Track during the 46th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
Researchers from the University of British Columbia have discovered that the betacoronavirus-encoded papain-like protease disrupts autophagy, partly by targeting ULK1. Their work is reported on the preprint server bioRxiv* in October 2020.
An estimated 2.5 million Americans suffer from irregular heartbeats-also known as atrial fibrillation. Baylor Health Care System is raising awareness about this often misunderstood, but potentially life changing cardiovascular condition whose incidence is on the rise and expected to more than double by 2050.
Each year there are more than three million cases of cholera worldwide, a disease transmitted through contaminated food and water that hits developing countries particularly hard.
