A new study - the largest to date of public attitudes about genetic discrimination - finds that 40 percent of people already undergoing genetic testing are worried that participation might affect their future insurance coverage.
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder is one of the most common mental health disorders affecting children and adolescents. Children with ADHD are excessively restless, impulsive, and distractible and experience difficulties at home and in school. Problems inhibiting behavior are a common theme for ADHD symptoms.
Results from an MPH thesis show that patients want to participate in planning their own rehabilitation, together with therapists and clinicians. This ensures them control and overview during their rehabilitation process.
Commenting on second quarter 2010 performance, Chairman, President and CEO Jai Nagarkatti said: "Our earnings for the second quarter of 2010 continued the strong performance achieved in this year's first quarter. We are very pleased with this performance that drove our increase in diluted EPS for the first half of 2010 to 18%. Consistent with our first quarter 2010 experience, conditions were favorable in several of our markets.
