Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc. announces that with reference to its previously-announced conference call scheduled for February 4th, 2010 at 11:00 AM EST, in addition to updating investors on the results of Sonomax's initiative to license its new Self-Fit(TM) headset technology at the recent Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and the company's outlook for 2010 and beyond, the company will also report on the $1.74 million non-dilutive financing arrangement that it has entered into with Benvest New Look Income Fund.
A study published in the July issue of The American Journal of Medicine, reports that among hypertensive patients with coronary artery disease, chronic self-reported use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) was associated with an increased risk of adverse events during long-term follow-up. Long-term NSAID use is common for treatment of chronic pain.
The American Society of Hematology (ASH), the world's largest professional association of blood specialists, expects more than 20,000 attendees at the 51st ASH Annual Meeting from December 5-8, 2009, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. The meeting will showcase the latest research and treatments for blood disorders.

The benefits of computed tomography (CT) have increased greatly over the past decade. Now twice as powerful, it offers dynamic images of anatomy, including the beating heart. Future advancements promise to deliver even more clinical benefits. However, CT has always had a downside: it can deliver high radiation doses to patients, putting them at increased risk of developing cancer.
