Noven Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Co., Inc., today announced top-line results from the first of two planned Phase 3 clinical studies evaluating low-dose mesylate salt of paroxetine (LDMP, formerly referred to as Mesafem) for the treatment of vasomotor symptoms (VMS) associated with menopause.
Exiqon A/S, today announced that it has granted a non-exclusive license to BD to use Exiqon's proprietary locked nucleic acids technology in defined products for infectious disease diagnostics.
Breastfeeding affects infant growth and, researchers have found, helps prevent obesity, both in childhood and later in life. However, the components of breast milk responsible for these beneficial effects remain mostly a mystery.
In full cooperation with the United States Food and Drug Administration, CooperVision, Inc. is continuing to work with the FDA, distributors, customers, eye care practitioners and lens wearers to complete the worldwide recall initiated on August 19, 2011 on certain lots of Avaira Toric contact lenses.
