A recent study by The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and State Farm Insurance Companies ® hones in on the most common errors teen drivers make that lead to a serious crash. Teen drivers are involved in fatal crashes at four times the rate of adults. The findings were published in the journal Accident Analysis and Prevention.
Canadian and American health-care professionals will work together to study the effectiveness of advanced integrative oncology (AIO) treatment for patients with late stage cancer. AIO treatment includes elements of conventional and naturopathic medicine.
A team led by researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago, along with collaborators at the University of Michigan and Sage Bionetworks, has won the Mood Challenge for ResearchKit, a contest that called on researchers to come up with new ways to study mood disorders using Apple's ResearchKit, an open-source platform for creating iOS apps.
Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, today announced that on February 1, 2011, Angiotech received a letter from the Toronto Stock Exchange stating that Angiotech's common shares will be delisted from the TSX effective at the close of market on March 3, 2011.
The Calité Research group at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche together with the Department of Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science, have designed the app 'Alicia'.
