A study of 2,377 children with autism, their parents and siblings has revealed novel insights into the genetics of the condition.
As influenza spreads through the northern hemisphere winter, Dr Linda Wakim and her colleagues in the Laboratory of Professor Jose Villadangos from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, believe they have a new clue to why some people fight infections better than others.
More than 2,300 healthcare professionals at dozens of Kaiser Permanente facilities across Southern California will soon vote on leaving the SEIU to join the National Union of Healthcare Workers (NUHW).
The Guardian highlights the African Environment Outlook-3, a report released last month by the United Nations Environment Programme that examines "[t]he multifaceted connection between environmental and human health."
The researchers evaluated immune response markers in a cross-section of people from the Indian state of West Bengal, including those vaccinated with either Covishield or Covaxin, the unvaccinated cohort, and the naturally infected.
