Breast cancer researchers from the Florida campus of The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) have developed a novel approach for identifying how chemicals in the environment-called environmental estrogens-can produce infertility, abnormal reproductive development, including "precocious puberty," and promote breast cancer.
The UK Department of Transport has today published National Statistics on road casualties in Great Britain in 2003, which relate to casualties in accidents reported to the police.
Smoking during pregnancy has widely documented health repercussions both for mother and baby. A study at the University of Zaragoza on 1216 newly born babies confirms that those born to mothers who smoke weigh and measure less.
