Mobile Aspects announced today that the University of Michigan Health System has signed an agreement to expand the use of its tissue tracking solution into the Operating Room at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. The solution, called iRISecure™, uses the unique characteristics of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to automate clinical workflow associated with tissue tracking.
Diet-to-Go on January 4th announced it has launched a meal plan specifically created for people who have Type 2 diabetes or prediabetes. The plan's calorie-controlled meals will also help people lose and manage their weight.
The federal government may reimburse doctors for talking to Medicare patients and their families about "advance care planning," including living wills and end-of-life treatment options -; potentially rekindling one of the fiercest storms in the Affordable Care Act debate.
