Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited today announced that they are discontinuing development of pramlintide/metreleptin, an investigational combination therapy for the treatment of obesity that comprises pramlintide, an analog of the natural hormone amylin, and metreleptin, an analog of the natural hormone leptin.
Building on a successful three-year pilot project, the National Institutes of Health has awarded more than $64 million to six research institutions to create a database of human cellular responses, the Library of Integrated Network-based Cellular Signatures.
Hotels that opened their doors to homeless people in their community during lockdown generated greater positive word-of-mouth marketing than those that offered free accommodation to frontline healthcare workers, finds new University research.
